We hope this letter finds you well.
2015 was a fun year for the Martin family. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to take two family trips this year – one to Key West, FL in April, and another to Florida with the entire family for Thanksgiving.
Bill had another year full of golf, work, and fitness. He won the Presidents Cup stroke play tournament at Centre Hills Country Club this summer. Bill continues to work out with his trainer three days a week in addition to playing racquetball as much as he can. He earned his Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation, and finished his 38th year in business helping clients reach their retirement goals at Wienken Wealth Management.
Amy has left Wienken Wealth Management to pursue her passion of decorating, remodeling and home staging with her new business, AmySue Decorating. She is active in the Women’s Welcome Club and oversaw her third design and implementation of a tree for the annual Festival of the Trees. In her spare time, she plays tennis during the summer, and works on her mixed media sculpture projects.
Jessica recently got promoted to Quality Control Supervisor at Planomatic, a real estate photography company in Denver. She is excited to be heading to Las Vegas at the beginning of 2016 as the production manager for Oh Hello Media on the Samsung CES photography shoot. She’s also enjoying snowboarding, and working out everyday with Beach Body programs like Insanity and Chisel and Hammer. Learn more about her fitness regimen at FitnessByJessica.Com, and her photography business at JLMartinPhotography.Com.
Christian started the year off returning from a four-month trip to Asia. He traveled to Morocco in March and is now back living in Denver full-time. Christian recently joined the real estate software company GetPrivyNow.Com, as the CMO. He helps businesses increase leads and sales through his digital marketing consultancy ProfitFox.Co. Christian is staying active with boxing, yoga, snowboarding and lifting.
Scott continues to enjoy his job as a financial adviser. He recently earned his Charted Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations. Scott started whitewater kayaking this year and successfully descended the lower Yough, a class III river in OhioPile.
Alexa hit the 5-year milestone this year as an information systems specialist at Wienken Wealth Management. Scott and Alexa spent some time traveling in 2015 with a trip to Chicago, and a trip to Boston to see the Patriot’s season opener. Both Scott and Alexa have been honing their culinary skills and cooking often.
2015 was a success in our book. We’re happy to have a healthy family, to be able to spend time together, and to work on our businesses and our passions.
As always, our door is open. Please come see us if you’re in the area, or reach out to us over the phone or email.
We wish you health and happiness in 2016!
The Martin Family
